REASONS I CAN'T SLEEP

I protected my heart truly
Lived with until this moments,
A false pretence that nothing ever touches me
Before now it ran hot and cold
Sometimes you will feel you're better
Other times you will feel like a mess

He will not understand
A mistake that I tried to reach to my heart?
A bad choice again?
Had I quickly give into a fool again?
Before now  I never lead anyone fully;
I was finding myself,
until my demons spotted my hiding place

You will not understand,
The reasons  I can't sleep
Trying to find the time I let my prejudice down
How I ever met with my regrets?
What to do?
How to stop another tour to this phase?

The sounds of silence could promise me answers,
Before I let them all down
The reasons I cant sleep

Eyes seeing the one thing it wishes it could keep
A heart let out awhile,
And tasted the swirl of freedom
Fear and sadness remains,
In a place where hope finally chose to visit
He wont understand that!

I had hoped he is the one to make me well;
Walk me till the end of an haven,
To meet the light peace once promised
He wont understand that,
This is only how I can be at night;
Trapped in the chains of my demons.

But this is not where I wish to be,
This is not where I wish to be!
Eyes wide open;
How can he understand to rescue me?
