BRAVE IVORY

Dedicated to all mothers who lost a child too early and to these brave children.

Bravery,
All I wish upon Ivory
I watch 'er clueless eyes
How she makes easily confused sighs
If only she knew some about my slays
I wish I could tell 'er a thing or two about the good old days
I searched a heart for what its worth;
A life once bright stopping too early to breathe

Hopefully I'd save a find I'd sort
With hands becoming too wise to carry
Yet for Ivory,
One more whisper to dry 'er rolling tears
Another pat to steady 'er wavering fins
Another tap
Another clap
At the very end
To the very end

"Bravery,
Ivory
Until our hearts can no longer swell
Until a better end too silent for death to tell"
